Respose to Four Artists
Gregory Crewsden: I noticed that his photographs were mostly scenery. And that a few of them had churches in the far background. His photos, however, seem uncomfortable to me. The overall theme is not happy. Most of his photographs are taken when it's either raining or snowing, or at night. Everything is entirely still.
Teun Hocks: Hocks uses a different technique in his photography. He definitely uses humor to accompany his skills as a photographer. I like the fact that he also uses paint in his work. I think that's very interesting. It's as if he's mixing the real world with imagination. I enjoyed viewing his work more than the other three artist's.

Jeff Wall: You can tell which decades his photographs were taken in, and I like that. I also like that he gives brief explanations about each photograph, in order for the viewer to better understand what they're seeing---or see it better from the artist's point of view.
